High-lights of Dual Day

Deaconess Gaila Washington

Scripture:
Mat 24: 44
"Get Ready for that Great Team in the Sky"
Get Ready!    Get Ready!!   Get Ready!!!
Deaconess Gaila Washington spoke on how we must Prepare our self for the team. The team she is talking about is the Lord Team.
First we have to want to be on the team.
Secondly we must be focus.
Thirdly when curve balls come our way we must stay in the game.

In order for us to have a Great Team we must be on One Accord!!! So when we get to Heaven we can do our NEW DANCE!

Rev. Philip Brown

Scripture:
Philippians 4:8
"What Does my Mind tell Me"
Preparation is a mind thing.

Rev. Philip Brown spoke on how we must prepare our mind. We must have virtue ( high moral standards).
So many claim to be a follow of Christ, but continue to be subject to the authority of the Carnal Mind. For to be carnal minded is death. But the Spirit of God seek those who are of the spiritual transformation. Not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye mat prove what is that good, and acceptable and prefect will of God.
Romans 12:2

To Summarize our Dual Day is:
You must have the right mind before you can even think about starting the preparation to be on God's Team.
You can't be on God side today and tomorrow test the Devil side to see it's a little better. Well, let me tell you the Devil don't have nothing you want but  weather that 7x's hot.

Holy Communion

CONGREGATION: Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, who of thy great mercy has promised forgiveness of sins to all them that with hearty repentance and true faith turn unto thee, have mercy upon us; pardon and deliver us from all our sins; confirm our faith and strengthen us in all goodness; and bring us to everlasting life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Almighty God, unto whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hid, cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of thy Holy Spirit that we may perfectly love thee, and worthily magnify thy holy name. It is our bounden duty that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks unto thee.

MINISTER: Jesus Christ, who in the same night that he was betrayed took bread and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and gave it to his disciples saying, Take, eat; this is my body which is broken for you. This do in remembrance of me. Likewise after supper he took the cup; and when he had given thanks he gave it to them saying, Drink ye all of it, for this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for you and for many for the remission of sins; do this, as often as ye shall drink it, in remembrance of me. Amen

Minister and Congregation

When I say..."I am a Christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."
I'm whispering "I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven."
When I say..."I am a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say..."I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak And need His strength to carry on.
When I say..."I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed And need God to clean my mess.
When I say..."I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible But, God believes I am worth it.
When I say..."I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches So I call upon His name.
When I say..."I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!
